STEWART VICTOR BORG

STEWART BOOTS

In the business of making boot lovers very happy since 1970, the Stewart Boot Co and its owner, Victor Borg, operate out of an 8,000 square foot shop in a strip mall in Tucson, Arizona.  Don’t be fooled by the lack of fancy digs.  Stewart Boots are legends, as are some of their loyal customers – Kevin Costner, Linda Ronstadt, Clint Eastwood, Eric Roberts and others.

Stewart’s mother cried when he quite his job as an electrical engineer in 1970 to buy the boot business.  He’s never looked back,.

Stewart’s crew of ten craftsmen still use the same machinery that they’ve used for decades – and many of the stitch pattern and designs haven’t changed since the 40s.  From plain, no-nonsense boots for working cowboys to fancy inlaid custom boots, customers happily wait up to three months to get their boots.  As the Supremes sang, “You can’t hurry love'”.   Stewart boots are definitely an affair of the heart.

As one Stewart Boot fan stated, “My family knows to put me in my Stewart Boots and jeans when they place me in my casket.  Otherwise I wouldn’t be comfortable in eternity. “
